Craig Hooker Artist
Craig has exhibited paintings throughout New Zealand and sold artwork to private collectors both in NZ and overseas. His style can be described as being disciplined and representational and much of his work draws upon his love and talent for drawing. Craig works in his studio usually basing his art upon a digital image he has recorded with a camera. Most of Craig's artwork is undertaken in oils onto board, as this suits both his style and his painting method. The scale of his freehand rendition is determined either by the buyer (if it is a commission) or the size of the canvas or board he intends to use. All paintings are then professionally framed.
